How to install Blackberry Playbook Simulators 2.0 on Windows 7

Blackberry Playbook Simulator is a free application that can be used to simulate the Blackberry apps on Windows system. This tutorial will show you how to install Blackberry Playbook Simulator 2.0 on Windows 7. Blackberry Playbook Simulator 2.0 is free and can be downloaded from official website of Blackberry. In order to use this software, you must have VMware Workstation or Player installed on your Windows 7. You can also use the Oracle Virtualbox to run this simulator, but sometimes I got error when running this simulator on Virtualbox.

Install Blackberry Playbook Simulator 2.0 on Windows 7:

First, download the Simulator setup file from Blackberry download website. Double click the file BlackBerryPlayBookSimulator-Installer-2.0.0-7971-Win-201202221232.exe and follow the installation instructions.

When done, browse to the location where you install this Playbook Simulator and you should find some files inside the directory.

Now open Vmware Player and locate the file .vmx. Then power up the virtual machine
