How to install Canon Pixma E500 IJ Driver on Zorin OS 6

Step 1. Download the Pixma E500 IJ driver.

Step 2. You will have a file name: cnijfilter-e500series-3.60-1-deb.tar

Step 3. Extract the file. Right click on the file and select extract here. If not, you can use Terminal to extract the file

tar xvf cnijfilter-e500series-3.60-1-deb.tar

It will produce a directory called

cnijfilter-e500series-3.60-1-deb

cd cnijfilter-e500series-3.60-1-deb

sudo chmod +x install.sh

sh ./install.sh
